Last week in chapel, Rand Hummel presented his series entitled "The Darkside of the Internet."
Rand is the program director of The Wilds Christian Camp and Conference Center. Originally from Pennsylvania, he has been living and working at The Wilds since he graduated from Bob Jones University in 1978.
Although he did not grow up in a Christian home, he was saved at the young age of five. The Lord preserved and protected him as he grew up in a sinful environment. He believes that the Lord used his childhood to prepare him for the youth ministry he is involved in today.
When asked what advice he would give to the Clearwater Christian College student, Rand replied, "Keep your heart by hating what God hates, and loving what God loves."
