Mark Mac Fawn is generally known for his sweet-shooting stroke on the basketball court and his engaging personality off the court. He is also known as "the guy who came from Southeastern". However, few people know the true story of Mark Howard Mac Fawn and the unlikely journey he took to reach his present place.

Mark's journey began in the year 2000 when he graduated from Calvary Baptist Church Academy in nearby Lakeland, Florida. After high school graduation, Mark saw himself at a crossroads in his life. He was not sure what the future held for him. He also wasn't even sure if he wanted to go to college at all.

Mr. Mark Bates, Mark's youth pastor at the time, and current CCC head soccer coach, intervened and mentioned the prospect of going to Clearwater Christian College to Mark. Mac Fawn was skeptical at first, but decided to give CCC a try.

Initially, Mac Fawn did not like CCC. He had a hard time adjusting to the atmosphere of the school. "Yeah, it was my first time being away from home, and I didn't really know anybody, so I got homesick," said Mark.

Throughout this difficult period in his life, Mark found refuge on the basketball court, a place where he always felt at home. Mark made the CCC basketball team and has earned praise for his defensive and tough-nosed style of play. However, after that first semester on campus, Mark decided to commute from his hometown of Lakeland for the second semester due to his unrelenting bouts of homesickness.

After his freshman year at CCC, Mark felt that CCC was not the place for him and that he needed a change of scenery. He decided to attend a local community college in his hometown until he could make up his mind about where he really wanted to go to school.

After spending his sophomore year at a local community college, Mark made a decision that would send shockwaves throughout the CCC community! He decided to attend CCC's bitter rival Southeastern College!!

Mark successfully made the Southeastern basketball team and not only earned a reputation as a great defender, but as a great shooter as well. Needless to say, Southeastern's first game against CCC that season was marked on Mark's calendar.
