Every year, starting in February, the Women and Men of CCC send representatives from each of their Greeks to represent them on the basketball court. The competition is fierce when each Greek vies for basketball supremacy!

Many of the players in Greek basketball who were cut from the CCC basketball team and have something to prove to themselves and the spectators. Some of the others played in high school and still enjoy playing the game.

Dale Brister, a member of the Greek SGC says, "Greek basketball provides intense competition and a game-like atmosphere for the average college student". However, some of the other people who play in Greek basketball are there for some friendly competition and for some good old-fashioned exercise.

But, no matter what, the competition is sure to be exciting as well as entertaining! Even certain CCC faculty members make it a point to play, sending a team of their own to compete against the students in an effort to teach the students a few lessons on the court.

Greek basketball is fun for the entire campus. It can be a great date for a couple or a good hangout for friends. It is also an opportunity to build friendships and support some of your fellow students in a Christ-like atmosphere. So be sure to check out a Greek basketball game.
