"Line! Line! Line!" This is probably what you would hear if you walked into last week's practice of the CCC production, "You Can't Take It With You."The production by a cast of eighteen closes Tuesday, November 1.

"The play has really come together. I'm so excited to be a part of this great cast," said Mallory Alexander, who plays the character Alice.

This is the first year CCC put on both a fall play and a spring musical. The practice schedule has been rigorous for the seven weeks of rehearsal.

David Fitzgerald, faculty member and director of the show, said the cast has jumped right in and worked hard to make a great comedy that the CCC family can enjoy. Made of mostly veteran CCC actors, the cast also has some fresh additions.

Fitzgerald said the Communication Arts Department recommended this play to the college because it has great comedic value. He also appreciated the philosophy of the character "Grandpa," played by Ben Armstrong. Grandpa wants to enjoy life and not be weighed down with trivial, unnecessary pressures. Fitzgerald's favorite part about directing is the finished product done well.

"You Can't Take It With You" is a comedy in three acts written by Moss Hart and George E. Kauffman. The adventures of Alice Sycamore's quirky family are sure to have the entire audience laughing. The play opened on Friday October 28, had two performances on Saturday October 29, and will have a final performance on Tuesday evening, November 1, at 8:00.

At publication tickets are sold out for the final performance.

The Angle's next issue will have a review and photographs.
