Just when students thought Pensacola games packed the Cougars' house, along came the Southeastern games to show the crowd what school spirit is made of.

This game brought out the fan in everyone, especially when Dr. Hodges announced that those wearing their Clearwater t-shirts could wear jeans to dinner. Sometimes a short term, minor dress code change is all it takes to get the students excited.

A big crowd turned out to rally the team. In the first seconds of the game, Clearwater scored while Southeastern followed them closely. The Cougars played hard, and made some invaluable three pointers.

The game was tense and the fans were filled with anticipation, especially when a key player, Tony Henton went down. It seemed like just a minor injury until he started screaming in pain and the crowd was silent and people began praying.

Of course, showing what an athlete he is, he asked to be picked up and was carried off the floor to cheers and applause. A true warrior spirit!

His injury was enough to get the Cougars pumped to play their best. They hustled hard, even through other injuries. In the end, perhaps the unexpected loss of a key player outdid the Cougars, and they failed to beat Southeastern.

Hopefully, after some recovery time, Tony will be back to assist them in crushing Southestern next time.
