With an anxious countdown to Friday afternoon, the students at CCC are gearing up for some possible rest and relaxation time over Spring Break March 18 -26. The book-weary college students have a variety of plans for the break.
Jonathan Hicks plans to go home to Chester, Penn., "I'm really mostly looking forward to spending time with my family, because I won't see them again until late July." He plans to play paintball, enjoy great homecooking, sleep more than six hours a night, and just relax!
Joy Wasmundt is going on the CCC Italy trip. "I am looking forward to walking around Rome and enjoying seeing the Tenors' concert," she says. Joy adds that besides seeing the sights of Italy, she will have some serious shopping time, as well as hanging out with both friends and her dad, who is also going.
Philip Bowen, also traveling to Italy, wants "to see the majestic beauty of the Italian scenery." Traveling with 50 of his closest friends, he plans to eat the best Italian food ever and take the country "by storm."
Amy Kirby looks forward to going home to Pennsylvania, where she plans to work and sleep. "I can't wait to see all of my friends and family," she says.
Ben Kaim, from Niceville/Destin, Fla., is also going home. He "can't wait to see Jane," and plans to sleep and go to the beach. He did not explain who Jane was.
Spring break is a great time to take a long-needed rest or do some traveling (such as going to Italy).
Without a doubt all CCC students staff and faculty who are travelling need prayer and God's protection as they seek to honor him during this Spring break.
