A new audio production course will need donations of records, tapes or CDs of conservative Christian music and also classical music, according to the faculty member developing the class.
Dr. Robert Cundiff, chair of the Communication Arts department, said that the course planned for Spring, 2007, will teach students digital audio editing and the basics of audio production.
Cundiff said the recordings will be used to teach students in the course how to transfer analog recordings to digital format, and edit digital audio media.
Analog recordings are those on records, like the 33-1/3 long play albums. Cassette tapes are also analog. CDs are digital recordings, but will be used in the new course also.
Cundiff said that anyone interested in making donations of such recordings should send them to his attention at Clearwater Christian College, 3400 Gulf to Bay Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33759.
