Are you a junior or senior? Could you use $5,000 towards your school bill? If so, read carefully.

The Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics Essay Contest has given away a scholarship for eighteen years. All juniors or seniors as of Fall 2006 can submit entries by December 8, 2006. The winners of the contest will be announced April 2007.

Essays should be 3,000 to 4,000 words and may take any form of analysis. Suggested topics include the following: "What does your own experience tell you about the relationship between politics and ethics and, in particular, what could be done to make politics more ethical?" Or, "Reflect on the most profound moral dilemma you have encountered and analyze what it has taught you about ethics and yourself."
