"Being Real: with God, Others, and Yourself," a dramatic performance by Jim and Carol Shores, was performed at Clearwater Christian College with an audience of nearly 600.

The Shores, a husband/wife team, are known nationally as "The Acts of Renewal;" they presented an evening of enjoyable and challenging dramatic scenes, all with a Christian messages.

The actors played multiple characters, then took turns briefly explaining the topic, including pertinent Biblical references. Through the spiritually-based drama, the Shores touched on contemporary Christian issues.

Continuing their performance during chapel the following day, the Shores presented another dramatic package, "Fractured Families: Is there hope for a healthy future in relationships when you come from a dysfunctional past?" The program included some material from their own experiences.

The "Acts of Renewal" team has performed in hundreds of venues across the country for more than a decade.

When not touring with their show, the Shores teach at Montreat College in North Carolina. They maintain a website, www.actsofrenewal.com.
