Clearwater Christian College hosted its annual missions conference on March 2-4. It provided CCC students the opportunity to learn about missions around the world.

Representatives from the mission fields shared how God is working. The keynote speaker was Dr. Stephen Davis, Associate Pastor and Director of Missions at Calvary Baptist Church in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Dr. Davis spoke in chapel on the topic of "Finding one's place in God's harvest." Challenging students to reflect on what the Gospel has done in their lives, he reminded the College family of the privilege each person has to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the hurting world.

In addition to chapel, students enjoyed the opportunity of hearing many mission representatives in classes. Many challenged students to pray for the various missions that are spreading the Gospel around the world. The mission representatives also served as evening dormitory devotion leaders during the conference.

Senior Rebecca Kock was encouraged by what was shared: "I enjoyed hearing the updates of their works and how they are not only trying to reach people overseas, but also ethnic groups right here in the U.S."

Students were also provided opportunity to converse with the mission representatives, not only after chapel, but during a scheduled time in the gymnasium. Freshman Bible major, Kevin Kravitz enjoyed speaking with many: "I liked that the missionaries stayed to speak with us after chapel, making themselves available to answer any questions that students might have. I really enjoyed speaking to the various representatives."

The missions conference was a great time of spiritual rejuvenation. Students and faculty alike were challenged to reach out to others in every community who are in need of Jesus Christ.
