While CCC students sleep comfortably through the night, someone is keeping watch. Armed with his trusty .38 Smith and Wesson, Matt Cannon, CCC's newest full-time security staff member, bravely mans the guard shack helping to guard the entire CCC campus. He joins Richard Schlosser and Terry Baumann as full-time security staff.

Cannon joins both of his parents and his younger brother in the CCC community. His mother, Judy Cannon, serves in the Office of Spiritual Formation; his father, Tom, is Registrar. Matt's younger brother, Mark, also works alongside him as a student security officer.

Recent graduate of the University of South Florida, Cannon holds a degree in Criminology. He enjoys the law enforcement/ security setting working as a security guard.

When Matt is not working, he enjoys playing video games, shooting sports, and spending time with his family.

Matt's wife, Sarah, often sends him to work with baked goods and snacks that he shares with other security officers! Easy-going and cheerful, Cannon is well-liked among the student population and respected by CCC staff.
