The lives of Jonah, Gideon, Jeremiah and Lazarus, four Biblical heroes, came to life in a one-man dramatic performance by actor Rich Swingle in a Fine Arts event at Clearwater Christian College.

Not only delivering a fresh, inspirational dramatization of each Biblically historical account, Swingle also intertwined those stories with what God has done and is doing in his life. He explained how he was called into acting in New York City and how God has called him to serve in places he had never imagined.

Throughout this dramatization, Swingle also encouraged audience members to listen to God's calling, and allow God to work through them.

Swingle then asked the audience for prayer as he and his team headed to Vancouver to perform another production of "After the Chariots," a play about Eric Liddell, a Christian Scottish Olympic runner from the last century. The film "Chariots of Fire" chronicled Liddell's life.

Rich Swingle also asked that the audience
pray for Christian Broadway plays soon opening. Last, he asked the audience to pray for their own service for God now, that they will be equipped for God's calling when they graduate.

After the performance, many responded to Swingle's invitation to give God everything, allowing him to call them according to his purpose.

Students reported that God had touched their hearts in the audience during the performance.

Swingle is on the board of Christians in Theatre Arts. He also works with Graceworks, an organization that helps business employees overcome their fears of public speaking and ultimately helps them connect with their audiences.
